PAYG (Pay As You Go)

PAYG contractors shift administrative responsibility to their employer. 

As a PAYG contractor, Genesis IT will manage all administrative tasks on your behalf including:

  •  Processing your pay
  •  Remitting tax as per your pay cycle
  •  Administering Superannuation to the fund of your choice
  •  Covering you for Workers Compensation
  •  Administering all Workers Compensation claims
  •  Administering $10m of Professional Indemnity and $20m of Public Liability insurance
  •  Work Health & Safety induction

PTY LTD Company

Pty Ltd contracting suits those who want flexibility and control of their own company.

As a Pty Ltd contractor you are responsible for ensuring that through your proprietary limited company the following is satisfied:

  •  Work with your accountant to set up the company
  •  Register for GST
  •  Procure and administer Workers Compensation insurance
  •  Acquire Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurances that will satisfy the end client’s requirements.
  •  Administer your own Superannuation
  •  Complete BAS statements as required
  •  Prepare statutory accounts and pay for associated costs
  •  Contract under the increasing legislative challenges associated with the 80/20 rule
  •  Work Health & Safety induction

Management Companies

Workplace Health & Safety

A requirement for all on-hire contractors of genesis IT is to participate in our comprehensive induction program. The purpose of the induction program is to make you aware of what your rights and entitlements are in relation to your employment, to ensure you know all of the company policies and procedures and who the key contact people are in the event you require assistance.

Our induction program has been designed to cover a number of critical and fundamental areas of law that we as an employer are obliged to comply with. Furthermore, as an on-hire contractor, you must also take steps to familiarise yourself with your own duties and responsibilities whilst on-site with one of our Clients.
